great paddle has improved my play in many areas great controlLove the short handle and shape, has good control and power, lacks a little touch for dinking at the net and blocking hard drives. Maybe just a little thicker core would make it super. The paddle does not generate much spin. I give it a 5 for speed and handling, a 4 for control and power, a 3 for touch and blocking, 2 for spin. Overall 4 , I use a index finger up like table tennis so the short handle and shape make up for some of the short comings. This feels like a really nice paddle. I really am not sure if I play better with this paddle or if I play better with the $20 Wal-Mart paddle. Honestly, I think I play about the same either way. It reminds of tennis racquets when I played tennis and there was always a newer, better racquet that would somehow make you better. But let's be honest. Nobody ever got better just by using a better racquet or paddle. It doesn't worth that way.Anyway, for $170, what I'd like to see here is some kind of protective cover for the paddle. It doesn't seem like much to ask.Very good paddle. Short handle so you have longer paddle area. Light. Bought my wife same paddle but with smaller handle. She loves her paddle too.I like the short handle and large sweet spot. I’ve been playing with it for 2 weeks now and I have great control and power with the Gravity. The graphite face allows me to create tons of spin!!!I have a Gamma Compass that I like but wanted to try a paddle with a smaller ( 3 7/8 ) grip circumference. So I bought the HEAD Gravity SH Pickleball Paddle. Love this paddle. Not sure if it makes a big difference but in my mind it does.....Love this paddle so far. It has a big sweet spot and lots of “pop” when striking the ball. Also creates a little added spin. It seems to be weighted a little top heavy but that does help give more power to my overheads. I would highly recommend this paddle for high intermediate to advanced players.Handle is to small. hardly ever use it.
